Couples can save up to 31 per cent and solos 55 per cent, with a free hotel stay thrown in – as part of a new package that includes a luxury, all-inclusive expedition voyage through the wild Kimberley in 2023.
Australian small ship specialist, Cruise Traveller, is offering the savings for bookings made by March 31, 2022, on its exclusive, 12-night ‘Kimberley Celebration’ package with luxury boutique cruise line, Ponant, through the rugged and majestic wilderness of the Kimberley.
Four sailings are available from June to September, 2023.
The unique, new package features a 10-night expedition cruise from Darwin to Broome aboard Ponant’s 264-guest exploration ship, Le Soleal.  Boasting a refined and intimate, French-styled elegance, Le Soleal offers a fine dining restaurant and grill restaurant, panoramic lounge, theatre, library, open-air bar, pool, an expert expedition team and personalised service.
Le Soleal will take adventure-hungry guests close to spectacular waterfalls, indigenous rock art, abundant wildlife and majestic coastal cliffs that flare flame red at dusk.
Cruise Traveller’s package offers two free nights’ accommodation in Darwin before the cruise. The 10-night expedition voyage from Darwin to Broome includes spectacular sights such as King George Falls, Mitchell Falls, Montgomery Reef, crocodile habitats and the famous phenomenon of Horizontal Falls where the ocean surges at high tide through a narrow break in the cliffs.
The immersive voyage includes guided, complimentary excursions on Zodiacs and ashore as well as a free wilderness adventure from Wyndham, with guests able to choose from a scenic flight over the famous Bungle Bungle ranges, a trip to the famous El Questro nature retreat or an Ord River wildlife cruise. The cruise also includes the indulgence of a daily open bar onboard Le Soleal.
Departure dates in 2023 are June 17, July 7, August 16 and September 5.
The package is available from A$10,550 per person, twin-share, in a Deluxe Balcony stateroom – a saving of A$4745 each or 31 per cent.  In a Deluxe Suite, the package is available from A$16,800 per person, twin-share – a saving of A$7425 each, or also 31 per cent. Solo travellers can also even bigger savings, with the package now available in a Deluxe Balcony from $A13,450 – a 55 per cent saving of A$16,525.  The discounts and free hotel stay offer apply to bookings made by March 31, 2022.
