A proud Roman reality, whose historical team is formed by architect Roberto Antobenedetto, interior designer Patrizia Pozzi and architect Michelangelo Pepé, today RPM PROGET has realized a project for an original retail space in the heart of Florence.
In Via dei Tosinghi, one of the most prestigious address of international shopping downtown, you find the boutique-atelier Coutū, an Italian brand based in Tuscany and founded in 2017 by the stylist Francesca Vaccaro.
The basic philosophy of this brand ranges from a creative process that does not limit to comparing or inserting materials, but is the fusion between a complex and articulated tailoring production, featuring a ongoing stylistic research of models enhancing the female silhouette in a mix of elegance and wearability of garments, addresing the style of modern women.
Nowadays, the Coutū brand is evolving from the tradition – always present and highly valued in the Florentine territory – towards an ever greater attention to the topic of sustainability, leading to the use of precious raw materials such as wool and mohair, for the creation of quite suggestive textile furs from sustainable and certified paths. Sustainability is also expressed in the use of fully recyclable raw materials, starting from the linings made of FSC certified viscose and the INFILITY polyester labels obtained from the recycling of plastic bottles and tags in biodegradable Remake paper, up to the clothing covers of GOTS certified cotton.
THE NATURAL FUR FABRIC
More specifically, the Natural Fur project is a knitted fabric with a fur effect made with precious raw materials born from the shearing of animals. This fabric of natural and pure yarns with a Shearling or Mongolia effect guarantees high thermal protection, despite its exceptional lightness.
THE RPM PROJECT IN FLORENCE
A realization by RPM PROGET,the Coutū atelier in Via dei Tosinghi expresses, in its elegant simplicity, its creative philosophy and for this reason Francesca Vaccaro’s garments are the absolute protagonists in a space declined in beige and black, made luminous by a ”large glass surface, including a room for those waiting to make their purchases, where they can relax on comfortable sofas in a welcoming lounge space and Clients choose the garments from these splendid collections declined exclusively for women.
The refined atmosphere of the atelier also includes the use of practical hangers that reminds to be in a tailor’s shop, where the value of custom-made is always there and Clients can experience the emotion of choosing and wearing personalized, unique and exclusive garments.
Mirrors are in the fitting room area. The lighting layout, discreet and technical, has been carefully chosen and set in order to highlight and make the garments vibrate in the most appropriate light. Spaces are rationally arranged and volumes have a own balance. Together with the light-colored laminate flooring, they manage to make an atelier being not that large but truly embracing, where Clients feel like guest stars in a dimension of glamour and lively haute-couture boutique, as the evocative name of this original Florentine space suggests.
