In Via dei Tosinghi, one of the most prestigious address of international shopping downtown, you find the boutique-atelier Coutū, an Italian brand based in Tuscany and founded in 2017 by the stylist Francesca Vaccaro.
The basic philosophy of this brand ranges from a creative process that does not limit to comparing or inserting materials, but is the fusion between a complex and articulated tailoring production, featuring a ongoing stylistic research of models enhancing the female silhouette in a mix of elegance and wearability of garments, addresing the style of modern women.
Nowadays, the Coutū brand is evolving from the tradition – always present and highly valued in the Florentine territory – towards an ever greater attention to the topic of sustainability, leading to the use of precious raw materials such as wool and mohair, for the creation of quite suggestive textile furs from sustainable and certified paths. Sustainability is also expressed in the use of fully recyclable raw materials, starting from the linings made of FSC certified viscose and the INFILITY polyester labels obtained from the recycling of plastic bottles and tags in biodegradable Remake paper, up to the clothing covers of GOTS certified cotton.
THE NATURAL FUR FABRIC
More specifically, the Natural Fur project is a knitted fabric with a fur effect made with precious raw materials born from the shearing of animals. This fabric of natural and pure yarns with a Shearling or Mongolia effect guarantees high thermal protection, despite its exceptional lightness.
