Visit USA Australia’s events came back with a bang on Wednesday night in Sydney at the 2022 Hybrid Expo – with more than 60 travel agents, over 20 US exhibitors, and the ever-vibrant MC Richard Reid.
Visit USA Australia made their loud arrival back to in-person events with the Visit USA Australia Hybrid Expo. The event, held at The Tea Room at the QVB in Sydney, was a fun-filled affair with celebrity MC Richard Reid entertaining agents and suppliers alike.
Rainy weather outside failed to dampen the enthusiasm. More than 60 agents braved the wild weather to hear more than 20 USA exhibitors deliver Ted-talk style updates on all things USA. The event was also streamed virtually for agents across the country.
MC Richard Reid, sponsored by Delta Air Lines and event sponsors Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board and LAX Airport, Utah Office of Tourism, Travel Texas, Rocky Mountaineer and NYC & Company, ensured the action-packed and informative evening was the perfect re-introduction to USA events.

The Organisation’s AGM, held ahead of the event, saw a new President and Committee announced. Caroline Davidson of Rocky Mountain International was elected President of the organisation. Davidson has served on the Executive Committee since 2015, most recently as Vice President.
