To keep Australians inspired about travel and to encourage them to do just that, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives) has launched Experiences Live from Maldives – a social media series bringing live experiences from the Maldives to Australian viewers.
To be streamed in a series of 10 episodes on Facebook and YouTube and shared via MMPRC’s social media channels, Experiences Live from Maldives will deliver unique experiences of the Maldives – its colours, flavours and scenic beauty – directly to the viewers. The series of curated livestream events will individually target key tourism markets, including Australia, and is aimed to inspire dreams about traveling to the Maldives.
The series also aims to reassure Australian tourists that Maldives is a safe haven, with the unique geography of islands and one island one resort policy creating natural social distancing, and making it one of the safest places on earth for holidaymakers. The series will give sneak peeks into adventures available at various resorts, hotels, guesthouses and liveaboards, as well providing updated on the latest information about the destination.
With international travel again possible for the majority of Australians, Maldives’ unique Border Miles program will again become available to travellers. A frequent flyer style rewards program, Border Miles assigns points to tourists each time they visit Maldives, with bonus points and partner points also available. The more points a traveller earns, the more rewards, services, and benefits they will enjoy.
