The program seeks to have a very positive impact on their living conditions, improving it through the generation of a stable economic income and in a work environment of respect, integrity and safety for them.
“I want to thank the directors of Blue Diamond Resorts in advance for working hand in hand with this government, for listening to us… and above all for giving us this opportunity and this light of hope for so many needed women in the area,” said Mara. Lezama, Municipal President of Benito Juárez.
The women who are part of the program will also receive psychological therapy support that will help to reverse the adverse effect of the previous lived experiences and will make it easier to recover their emotional stability and quality of life.
For its part, Blue Diamond Resorts spoke of the importance of the synergy that exists between tourist complexes, their associates and the locality where they reside. “Our great hotel quality is nothing more than a living reflection of the great work carried out by all our associates; providing them with the best living conditions that support their family environment is our responsibility, as well as always contributing to the destinations where we have a presence”, said Mauricio Zárate, Corporate Director of Operations of Blue Diamond Resorts.
The agreement started as of February 10 of this year and will allow hosting dozens of women who want to integrate and work in hotels in the region and follows the continous efforts of Blue Diamond Resorts and Marriott International’s core value of “Putting People First”.
