This year Viking celebrates 25 years in business. For 25 years, Viking has been setting the standard in river cruising. Beginning operations in 1997 with four ships on the rivers of Russia, and a vision that travel could be more destination-focused and culturally immersive. With a fleet of 72 river ships sailing the rivers of Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Asia, Egypt and the US, Viking is the river cruise expert.
“As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, it is shaping up to be one of our biggest years yet. Our fleet of river ships continues to expand with new Longships in Europe and our new custom-built ships to sail the Mississippi, the Mekong, and the Nile. These three ships have already reached several construction milestones and are on track for their inaugural sailings later in the year,” said Michelle Black.
With pent up demand from travellers across the globe, Viking is encouraging you to book your clients sooner rather than later. With many of our most popular cruises for 2022 already sold out and many 2023 cruises close to capacity, you should book your clients now to avoid disappointment.
