Last night four Orange Businesses came together as finalists for the NSW Tourism Awards in a industry celebration at Heifer Station. Both Byng Street Boutique Hotel and Heifer Station Wines took out the top award in their respective categories. Byng Street Boutique Hotel took the gold for 4-4.5 Star Accommodation and Heifer Station for Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries.
Heifer Station Owner, Michelle Stivens commented, “Phillip and I are so proud of our Heifer Station team for their passion and commitment to our business through what has been a challenging two years. A huge congratulations needs to go out to the three other finalists from the Orange, Cabonne and Blayney region, we are all doing our best and striving to exceed guests’ expectations on a daily basis.”
Byng Street Boutique Hotel owners, Thomas and Kristen Nock added, “We are so excited and grateful to be recognised by our industry within our first two years of operation. We are really proud of our achievements, particularly overcoming the challenges of being a new small business in the current environment. We had a clear vision of the business we wanted to create and it is immensely gratifying when our guests respond so positively. We must acknowledge our wonderful team, both past and present who have joined us on our journey and have delivered exceptional service to our wonderful guests.”
Country Food Trails were also awarded Highly Commended in the New Tourism Business Category with Orange360 taking the bronze award in the Marketing & Campaigns category.
Orange360 General Manager, Caddie Marshall said, “It is a testament to our region to have four finalists and two gold winners at the NSW Tourism Awards.”
