Atura Dandenong’s own Brownstone Micro Brewery has been recognised at the ‘Indies’ – the Independent Brewers Association National Beer Awards, winning an award in every beer variety category. 
Brownstone Brewery, a hidden gem in Dandenong, is focused on producing beers that reflect the tastes of the local community with the award-winning brews carefully crafted under the expertise of master brewer Steve ‘Hendo’ Henderson and Matt John.
The awards are presented by the Independent Brewers Association (IBA) with a record number of entries from brewers across the country.
The 2021 awards saw Brownstone Micro Brewery take home its largest number of wins yet, achieving a gold medal in the Lager Category for their NZ Pilsoner. Other awards included:
Silver – Session Beer category – Summer Ale
Silver –  Mixed Culture category – Passionfruit Sour
Bronze – Pale Ale category – IPA and Pale Ale
Bronze – Porter/Stout category – Stout
Bronze – Hybrid  category – Lager
