Mona presents High Tea for Two, a lavish new art and fine dining experience in the opulent surrounds of the Ladies Lounge, created by artist and curator Kirsha Kaechele.
Housed within Mona’s semi-subterranean galleries, High Tea for Two is an exclusive two-hour experience for any kind of lady. After entering the museum, guests are ushered into a lush emerald-green room adorned with priceless treasures and are invited to indulge their every whim.
Created by Kirsha Kaechele, the Ladies Lounge is a secluded gallery space featuring artworks from the Mona collection and Kirsha’s own family heirlooms. Inspired by the rollicking tales of Kirsha’s scandalous great-grandmother, Tootsie, the Ladies Lounge is a place where guests can share in enlightened conversation, unbridled glamour, and other ladies-only pleasures.
Throughout their sumptuous high tea experience, diners are waited on by a personal butler and served decadent treats and tipples carefully crafted by Mona Executive Chef Vince Trim. Every element—from the tableware to the gold-leaf desserts—is a sublime work of art.
Once seated within the green silk walls of the Ladies Lounge, High Tea for Two participants is immersed in Kirsha’s conceptual work. Both consuming and participating in the living installation, they become part of the art, on display to their fellow museum patrons. Guests are asked to wear green, gold, white and black, or any combination of those.

The High Tea for Two experience is limited to two ladies per sitting and runs twice daily (11 am and 2.30 pm) on Saturdays and Sundays only. Each sitting runs for two hours.
The $500.00 package (for two) includes multi-course nibbles, matched refreshments, exclusive butler service and museum entry. Bookings are essential and subject to availability.
The Ladies Lounge gallery can be accessed by any ladies visiting the museum. No boys allowed.
