As Sydneysiders hit the road to venture out across NSW, ecotourism tiny house company Tiny Away has added five new tiny houses to its portfolio of rural getaways, ready to welcome travellers looking for an escape from the city.The new NSW tiny houses span the Hunter and Mid-North Coast, Barrington Tops, Blue Mountains, and the Southern Highlands, and are set on rural sites including a private riverside farm, equine agistment, and even at the base of the stunning Watagan Mountain National Park.
Tiny Away now has close to 100 unique short-stay tiny house accommodation options across Australia. Its tiny architecturally designed houses are set on private land in rural and regional locations and are designed to get visitors out of the city and into the outdoors.
Tiny Away was created for guests to truly disconnect, recharge, and enjoy a minimalist lifestyle with loved ones. “All the properties offer something different. Some are only semi-secluded and close to shops and activities, and others are in the middle of nowhere,” says Jeff Yeo, co-founder of Tiny Away.
“It’s all about leaving the worries of the daily grind behind and really connecting with the natural surrounds. These new properties will offer our guests exactly that, and a chance to explore more amazing regions across Australia,” he added.
The Wabe (Little Hartley, Blue Mountains) lies in the beautiful Kanimbla Valley with views of the Blue Mountains escarpment. Set at the end of a quiet country lane where the only things you will hear are birds singing and cattle mooing. If you are looking for outdoor activities, this tiny house is a great base for visiting Jenolan Caves, eclectic Blackheath, and the many bushwalks of the Blue Mountains.
Odyssean Tiny House (Cessnock, Hunter Valley) is only moments from Cessnock and worldfamous Hunter Valley wineries but could be a million miles away. Backing onto national parklands, guests can discover hours of walking trails on the doorstep. You’ll be in the close company of the equine kind – the property houses over 20 horses.
Odyssean Tiny House, Hunter Valley Les Luna at Crescent (Crescent Head, Mid North Coast) abundant with flora and fauna, Les Luna at Crescent is a perfect mix of countryside and seaside, set on a 33-acre property only 7 minutes away from the famous Crescent Head surf breaks and town. Guests can sit by the dam, fire up the BBQ, and chill by the firepit in a hammock.
River’s Edge (Bowman, Barrington Tops) tiny house is set in 11 acres of park-like surrounds bythe me andering Bowman River. Find a picnic spot and swimming hole all whilst listening to the sounds of the Aussie bush. Explore the Barrington Tops including Gloucester’s local markets and cellar doors, bushwalk through ancient rainforests, or kayak the Barrington River.
Foxglove Cottage (Robertson, Southern Highlands) is perched on the banks of Missingham Creek and surrounded by stunning Southern Highlands’ National Parks with spectacular lookouts and waterfalls. Take a dip in one of the ample private swimming holes on the 20-acre property or take a leisurely rainforest walk to the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Illawarra.
