In a statement, Royal Caribbean International says it has made the decision to cancel all sailings on Ovation of the Seas from Sydney, 13th December, 2021 through to 31st March, 2022.

The reason they have provided is that a clear pathway for the return of foreign-flagged ships and cruising, in general, is yet to be established by governments in Australia.
Royal Caribbean International says that it knows many of its guests look forward to a return to cruising and they regret the inconvenience this may cause, with booked guests and travel partners impacted will be contacted with further details.
Royal Caribbean International added in the statement that as Australia opens up, they are committed to progressing the proactive conversations with federal and state governments on recommencing cruising in Australia and hope to provide an update soon.
