As a result of ongoing border closures, the Australian Cruise Association (ACA) has taken the decision to re-schedule their Annual Conference to 7-9 September 2022.
The Association is currently confirming the speaker line-up around the new dates of the event which will still be held at the Ville Resort-Casino in Townsville. Networking activities and pre- and post- touring options will give attendees an opportunity to get to know one of Queensland’s popular cruise destinations.
“We were hopeful that the border openings would be further advanced to allow us to meet the November dates, but we are not confident that will now be the case” said Australian Cruise Association CEO, Jill Abel.
“In the interim, we are looking at holding a series of cruise-ready workshops in the early part of next year. We are increasingly confident that domestic cruising will start to build by that time and it will give us the opportunity to re-connect with our members.”
Delegates who have registered for the Conference and booked their accommodation will be automatically moved to the new 2022 dates with ACA honouring the existing pricing.
Registration remains open for new bookings at www.australiancruiseassociation.com/conferences
