Lucciola Restaurant & Bar, the chic and charming Italian restaurant located on the first floor of The Hari Hong Kong, launches a brand new brunch experience available every Sunday from 19 September 2021.
Meticulously designed by Piedmont-born Chef de Cuisine Francesco Gava, the brunch extravaganza features an array of Italian favourites presented in five acts, namely Aperitivo al Bar (Appetiser Buffet); A Tavola (Sharing at the Table); Antipasto Caldo (Hot Starters); Piatto Principale (Main Courses) and Dolci (Dessert).
Highlights from each category include a choice selection of cured meats and cheeses at the appetiser buffet, as well as the classic La Burrata Pugliese and a lavish assortment of cold seafood including freshly shucked seasonal oysters, Alaskan king crab legs and Kaluga caviar for sharing at the table. The curated culinary journey continues with the hot starter of Black Mussels with Parsley and Garlic, followed by a main course that guests can pick from a list of seasonal dishes such as Handcrafted Tonnarelli Pasta with Creamy Pecorino Romano and Chilean Sea Bass Fillet with Black Mussels and Veraci Clam Broth. After a hearty savoury experience, the dessert selection marks a grand finale with well-loved treats such as our signature Tiramisu, Caprese Cake and Gelato.
Also available at the buffet table are three variations of barrel-aged Negroni – the iconic apéritif created by the hotel’s Beverage Manager Sabrina Cantini Budden to complement the Italian taste journey.
To celebrate its debut brunch offer, Lucciola has invited Hong Kong-based Italian artist Francesco Lietti to kick off the occasion with a touch of artistic flair. On four consecutive Sundays starting from 26 September 2021, guests at the brunch can ignite their creativity by joining Lietti to paint on a 150x100cm canvas, which will eventually turn into a collaborative art piece inspired by the spectacular skyline of Hong Kong.
Available every Sunday from 19 September 2021 between 12noon and 2:30pm, Lucciola’s brunch menu is priced at HK$688 per adult and HK$294 per child (aged 5 to 11 years old). Guests can also enhance the dining experience with a bottomless beverage package with Perrier-Jouët Champagne, Gin & Tonic, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini, Bloody Mary, house red/white wine and beer at a supplement of HK$500 per person; or with Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini, Bloody Mary, house red/white wine and beer at a supplement of HK$300 per person. All prices are subject to a 10% service charge.
