APT introduced Private Jet Air Tours last year in response to its travel agent partners asking for tours where their clients could see more, in less time. The tours have been such a hit with travel partners and guests that the company has expanded its product range for 2022 to include New Zealand, as well as a new tour covering Australia in depth.
A major benefit of Private Jet Air Tours is freedom from commercial airline schedules. These are unique itineraries, created for maximum sightseeing from the air, and maximum time on the ground exploring Australia’s and New Zealand’s greatest sights.
To acknowledge the launch, APT is offering savings of up to $3,000 per couple across the range of tour which are available when booked by 31 March 2022 or until sold out.
A new 16-day tour, Icons of Australia by Private Jet, takes travellers on a magical journey to the country’s highlights including Hobart, the Barossa Valley, Margaret River, Broome, Darwin, Cairns, the Whitsundays and Uluru. The per person, twin share price starts from $15,495 including a saving of up to $3,000 per couple when booked by 31 March 2022.
En route, the privately chartered jet flies scenic figure-8 circuits over places such as Cradle Mountain, the Great Australian Bight, Kalgoorlie’s Super Pit, the Bungle Bungle Range and Arnhem Land. These flyovers allow for spectacular views for all passengers.
New Zealand is featured for the first time in the private jet air tour program. A 12-day Remarkable New Zealand by Private Jet itinerary visits Auckland, the Bay of Islands, Rotorua and Christchurch, before travellers catch the world-famous TranzAlpine train across the Southern Alps. There is a flyover of Aoraki Mt Cook, before exploring Dunedin and Queenstown, as well as a Milford Sound cruise. The trip is priced from $11,495 per person, twin share including a saving of up to $1,000 per couple when booking before 31 March 2022.

APT’s product manager for Australia and New Zealand, Maureen Styles, said the company’s first season of Private Jet Air Tours had been an outstanding success, encouraging the planning of more departures for 2022, including the comprehensive Icons of Australia and Remarkable New Zealand tours.
“In creating these tours I was thinking about ‘bucket list’ items and hard to reach attractions and destinations – experiences such as swimming with the whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef, seeing Uluru and the Field of Light, and visiting Cape York and Longreach,” she said.
“Our west coast and Queensland sales and feedback have exceeded expectations, and we are thrilled with the market and customer feedback. Directly in response to that sentiment, we now have Queensland Outback & Tropics departures from both Brisbane and Sydney.”
APT Private Jet Air Tours include the services of an expert flight Captain and crew, with an APT Tour Director on hand every step of the way.
APT is including their Domestic Peace of Mind Deposit Cover on all bookings. Guests can pay an upfront fee of $95 per person to postpone their holiday up to 100 days prior to departure. All monies paid can be used towards a new booking within three years of departure.
