The Art of Luxury Showcased in Brand New Designs
For new ship Seven Seas Grandeur, the award-winning Studio DADO – specialists in boutique cruising and hospitality interior design – were engaged by Regent Seven Seas Cruises to reimagine the distinct level of luxury found on board The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™. Inspired by close to 30 years of unrivalled experiences, the new designs illustrate how the partnership has taken modern luxury cruising to new aesthetic heights, from all-suite, all-balcony accommodation to transformative dining experiences.
“A canvas such as Seven Seas Grandeur is a designer’s dream,” said Yohandel Ruiz, founding partner, Studio DADO. “The level of luxury needed requires us to consider and perfect every single detail that the discerning Regent guest will experience. Not only is the functionality of each individual space of the highest importance, whether it’s indulging in a gourmet meal or reclining on a plush mattress for a restorative sleep following a day of exploring, but the finest of materials must work in perfect harmony too, from textures to color tones. It’s a challenge to relish.”
The Regent Suite
An evolution of luxury, every element of the Regent Suite has been treated as a piece of art, from the highest quality textiles to hand-selected furnishings. New for the Regent Suite is a skylit, glass-enclosed parlour adorned with two chaise lounges allowing for afternoon daydreaming or nighttime stargazing.
The 413 square metre suite, which overlooks the bow of the ship, modernises the traditional, offering pure luxury in the form of two spacious bedrooms, two and a half marble and stone detailed bathrooms, a living room with personalised bar set-up and a dining room.
A private in-suite spa – with unlimited complimentary treatments, sauna, steam room, and jetted bathtub – caps off a truly indulgent hideaway.

Transformative Dining
With the already revealed, reimagined design of Compass Rose, Regent signalled its intention that Seven Seas Grandeur will, very much in the tradition of the cruise line, continue to curate unforgettable dining experiences in a range of spectacular, yet intimate restaurants.
The new renderings unveiled for two more of its celebrated dining venues – the sublime Prime 7 steakhouse and decadent French Chartreuse – tell the story of the restaurants’ nostalgic design inspirations from 1925 Paris and the Art Deco movement, to the romance of turn of the century New York.
Observation Lounge – Expansive Elegance
From offering quiet alcove seating while watching a never-ending ocean sunset, to serving refreshing cocktails under an organic art nouveau inspired mesh crystal chandelier, no single public space encapsulates how Regent can provide for every mood and deliver bespoke unrivalled experiences quite like the new design of Seven Seas Grandeur’s Observation Lounge.
Seven Seas Grandeur’s Inaugural Sailings
Seven Seas Grandeur’s first sailing will be 25 November 2023, when she makes her way across the Atlantic on a 14-night cruise from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, Florida visiting, Seville (Cadiz), Spain; Funchal (Madeira), Portugal; and the pink sand beaches of Bermuda.
From Miami, the ship explores the Western Caribbean on a seven-night sailing which includes a stop at the cruise line’s private island, Harvest Caye, Belize. The festive season is then primarily spent exploring Central America which, following a transit of the Panama Canal, visits ports in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Mexico. The 16-night cruise ends in Los Angeles, California with Christmas Day spent in Cartagena, Colombia and New Year’s Day in Acapulco, Mexico.
On 8 January 2024, Seven Seas Grandeur enjoys 16 nights cruising her way back to Miami via Central America and the Panama Canal on a reverse of the prior voyage. A 10-night sailing on 26 January, allows further exploration of the Western Caribbean including Mexico’s Costa Maya and Cozumel, and Roatan, Honduras plus Key West, Florida among other sun-kissed destinations.
The Eastern Caribbean beckons next giving luxury travellers the chance to relax on the paradise islands of Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire on a 12-night voyage, sailing 5 February. Between 17 February and 25 March there are a further two Western Caribbean and two Eastern Caribbean sailings, all seven to 10-nights and round-trip from Miami, after which Seven Seas Grandeur sails to New York. On its 16-night journey to the Big Apple, the ship makes several stops at some beautiful Caribbean locales such as Castries, St. Lucia and San Juan, Puerto Rico, as well as the charming and historical Charleston, South Carolina.
On her second transatlantic sailing, this time for 14 nights and leaving New York on 24 April, she discovers the Azores and enjoys extended highlights of the Iberian Peninsula such as Spain’s Valencia, Cartagena, and finally Barcelona.
From Barcelona, Seven Seas Grandeur’s maiden Mediterranean season begins with two seven-night sailings to and from Rome, Italy on 24 April, and 1 May, respectively. The cruises offer distinctly different experiences of the region. The former itinerary explores the French Riviera with an overnight stay in Monte Carlo, Monaco, while the latter offers guests a chance to immerse themselves in the island destinations of Sicily, Italy and Valetta, Malta.
A longer 12-night cruise on 8 May continues to explore the classic cruise ports of France and Italy’s West Coast before sailing around “the boot” and stopping at Montenegro and Croatia en route. This heralds the ship turning its attention to the Eastern Mediterranean where, from 20 May until 1 July, she sails two cruises of 10 nights and two cruises of 12 nights – the first departing from Venice and the remainder sailing from Athens, Greece or Istanbul, Turkey. Of the four voyages, three feature an overnight stay in Istanbul, Turkey and one provides a two-night stay in Jerusalem, Israel. All four sailings tour the stunning Greek islands.
