Globus and Cosmos, part of Globus family of brands (GFOB), have announced the launch of their Australia and New Zealand touring programme for 2022 which are designed for local travellers, available to book from today.
Globus’ Contrasts of the Kimberley tour which includes stays in Darwin, Katherine, Kununurra, El Questro Station, Fitzroy Crossing and Broome was one of the top selling 2021 tours and is now offered with more departure dates in 2022.
Travellers have nine itineraries in Australia and four in New Zealand to choose from with the major drawcard experiences of the Northern Territory, Queensland’s tropical islands, Tasmania, Western Australia and New Zealand curated into tours ranging from six to 14 days, for those with more time to explore the stunning destinations.
“Australians have recognised the benefits of touring in their own backyard, enjoying spectacular scenery and incredible food and wine while uncovering the best of each region – as told through the eyes of the locals they meet,” said Gai Tyrrell, managing director Australasia of Globus family of brands.
“Our itineraries perfectly showcase the best of Australia and New Zealand and take the stress out of travel planning, putting the focus back on enjoying the great outdoors, fabulous culture and amazing experiences that create lasting memories.”
The 2022 collection includes eight Cosmos itineraries and five by Globus, with one exciting new itinerary still to be announced. (Please see the Notes to Editor for example itineraries.)
To celebrate the launch of the 2022 season, GFOB is offering five per cent off Cosmos and 10 per cent off Globus tours for all new bookings made by 30 September, 2021.
To help quell concerns travellers may have for 2021 travel and beyond, Globus and Cosmos have extended their comprehensive Peace of Mind Travel Plan and developed On-Trip Assurances to help protect the health and safety of guests. The assurances include an average capacity of 24 guests on each trip, to allow for comfortable physical distancing, pre-trip health screenings for staff and guests, daily disinfecting, reduced luggage handling and pre-screening each restaurant, activity and accommodation to ensure it’s safe.
