A brand new monthly ‘Bathurst Wine Explorer’ – A new tour showcases the edgy wines, historic buildings, and beautiful landscapes of Australia’s oldest inland city. Guests are driven to wine tastings at three cool climate wineries and enjoy a two-course lunch with a talk from a featured vigneron at Abercrombie House, followed by a tour of the 1870’s 50-room Scottish baronial mansion. A rotation of wineries includes Vale Creek Wines, Renzaglia Wines, Bellbrook Friends Wines and Forest Rock Wines. Meet the makers at each winery and learn why the wine making process in the Bathurst region is so unique. Just hop on the bus and enjoy the journey. Held on the third Saturday of every month. New wine bars in Orange – The renowned Borrodell Vineyard has opened a bar with some of the highest views in Central NSW at Sky Bar. For a hip new place to drink in Orange the Mad Hatter Drink Lab is the place to be. Grazing Down the Lachlan on 18 September in Forbes – Celebrating its fourth year in 2021, the multi-award-winning foodie adventure returns to the banks of the Lachlan River on Saturday 18 September 2021. The unique long lunch celebrates produce native to the Central West NSW region, prepared by local restaurateurs and caterers. Grazers are transported out to site by bus to minimise impact on the natural environment and are then free to wander along the 2.5-kilometre bush track between six stations offering delicious food with a matched beverage.
