Minor Hotels has been awarded two top awards at the 2021 Queensland Hotel Association (QHA) Awards for Excellence. Recently launched Oaks Cairns Hotel was awarded ‘Best Mid-Range Accommodation’, while Avani Broadbeach Residences was the recipient of the ‘Best Suite/Apartment Hotel’ award.
The award winners were announced at a Gala Dinner on Monday 7 June 2021 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The QHA Awards for Excellence celebrate outstanding achievements for Queensland’s Hotel Industry.
“Despite a challenging year, our team have shown great dedication to quality customer service, ensuring guests at all of our properties have a positive experience,” said Craig Hooley, Chief Operating Office for Minor Hotels Australia and New Zealand. “I’m delighted to see their hard work recognised with these awards, as well as recognition of our quality product offering, particularly with one of our most recently opened new properties – Oaks Cairns Hotel. We’re excited for more Australians to discover Queensland in 2021,” he concluded.
