Melco Resorts & Entertainment announces Studio City has achieved the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification for food safety after successfully passing an audit by third-party certification agency SGS Hong Kong Limited. The achievement establishes that the entire Melco integrated resort portfolio in Macau has been accredited with this globally recognized standard, and highlights Melco’s food and beverage excellence is founded upon the Company’s impeccable food safety standards. City of Dreams received the HACCP food safety certification since 2011 and was the first integrated resort in Macau to be accredited. Altira Macau has also received the certification since 2014.

These are regularly assessed and audited by Melco F&B department managers and our highly trained Food Safety team, as well as external advisors, including the Food Safety Centre of the Macao SAR. The HACCP certification is a globally recognized food safety management standard which fulfils the international food safety standards, guidelines and code of conduct established by the International Codex Alimentarius Commission, an official body formed by the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
