
While Australian cruising wallows in the dark, Royal Caribbean International has announced that their Oasis-class Wonder of the Seas will sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong in 2022 and beyond and that bookings are now open, but of course currently Australians cannot leave Australia to participate in these cruises.

Following her delivery from Chantiers de l’Atlantique, Wonder of the Seas will sail from Shanghai from March through November 2022, with the majority of her sailings from Shanghai to be short cruises, roundtrip from Shanghai, for example a four night cruise calling in Naha, and another four night cruise calling in Fukuoka.
Wonder of the Seas will also be operating two five-night itineraries callig at Fukuoka and Kagoshima, or Fukuoka and Kumamoto, with another option to Naha and Ishigaki.
In the summer of 2022 Wonder of the Seas will also be operating a number of longer cruises from Shanghai, including an eight-night voyage to Japan calling in Kobe, Osaka, Shimizu and Tokyo.
Wonder of the Seas will then move to Hong Kong and the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal for a November 2022 to January 2023 program, with itineraries from Hong Kong including a nine-day option to Korea and Japan, and short cruises to Japan or Vietnam.
