The Dilly first opened in 1908 as The Piccadilly Hotel and has been a magnet for the great and good over the last 113
years. Couples who choose to tie the knot at The Dilly will experience a wedding steeped in history, now with the added modern essence and style of London for their centre-stage moment. The surrounding landmarks of Green Park, Buckingham Palace and the statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus provide the backdrop for perfect photo opportunities.

The Dilly’s dedicated wedding planners are on hand for the full wedding journey, from inspiration to menu tasting and entertainment, anticipating every detail of the wedding. Their extensive network of local suppliers include Pulbrook & Gould – renowned florists with a history of providing wedding flowers for high-society, celebrities and many others – and now with a dedicated outlet in The Dilly’s lobby. Guests can take advantage of The Dilly’s private catering options with bespoke menus designed by The Dilly chefs or alternatively, a dry-hire option for flexibility.

Newlyweds can step into Piccadilly to paint the town red or carry on the party by taking over Terrace at The Dilly – a light-filled space with a slanting glass ceiling which includes an external balcony that overlooks Piccadilly and once was the scene for outdoor swimming and dancing in the 1930s. The Dilly is also pet-friendly, so no need for anyone to miss out on the big day.

The Dilly is fully licensed for ceremonies with capacity for up to 200 guests and can also offer more intimate wedding packages for smaller gatherings. For safety and privacy, an entire floor of the hotel is bookable for the big day. The hotel’s banqueting rooms – designed in the style of Louis XIV with epoque chandeliers and detailed oak panelling – have been the scene of many weddings, dinner dances and private events over the last 100 years. The Georgian and Adams suites have availability for 2021 weddings and the impressive Oak Room will be able to book for weddings from 2022.

For intimate gatherings, the Scarlet Wedding package is bookable for weddings up to thirty people. Prices start from £150 per person including canapés, a four-course meal and drinks throughout the day. For larger wedding celebrations, The Dilly offers the Crimson Wedding package for a minimum of thirty guests. Prices start from £95 per person including canapés, a four-course meal and drinks throughout the day.
