It is time for some celebration! Finally the Trans Tasman  travel bubble has come to fruition and we are free to travel without 14 days of hotel quarantine. This welcomed reciprocative decision will help tour operators in both countries (we both need it) as the ‘pent up’ tourists can now venture past domestic pastures, whilst of course the VFR (visiting friends & relatives) are already snapping up the seats at great speed. It is easy to get around in NZ, which is a total of 268,838 sq kms and self drive is a very popular type of holiday. Go as you please, stop where you like to take in the attraction of the moment. Just to put the size into perspective, Australia is 29 times bigger than NZ, but NZ is 10% larger in size than the UK, which has a population of 60.5 million more people than NZ. Small and pretty exclusive!
