The Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS), proudly presented by Citi, is back with a fresh look in 2021 to take you on a sensory journey of the very best food and wine Australia has to offer.This year marks the show’s 21st birthday, with festivities kicking off in one of Australia’s most
renowned culinary cities, Sydney, from 24 – 27 June, before continuing to Perth, Brisbane and
Melbourne later in the year. For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a Thursday
evening session, with morning and night sessions to follow for a more relaxed day out.

Tickets for the Sydney show are on sale today, revealing a four-day line up with a focus on celebrating local hospitality, producers, and winemakers; from the Hunter Valley to the Southern Highlands, as well as popular interstate regions including Margaret River, Barossa, McLaren Vale and Clare Valley to name a few.

With over 600 wines, 60 types of cheese, an exciting new line up of celebrity chefs, masterclasses, live cooking demos and more, the GFWS has something to satisfy everyone.

In addition to celebrating local producers, winemakers, and distillers, the GFWS is excited to be
supporting the hospitality industry. Some of Sydney’s finest eateries including Nour, By Fass, newly
launched Ria by Brent Savage and 2 hatted plant-based restaurant Yellow, will all be taking part in the new Eat Local Restaurant Pop-up.

Everyone’sfavourite Spanish chef, Miguel Maestre, will wow fans with his live cooking demonstrations at the main cooking stage; The Kitchen by Harris Scarfe.

Other top chefs who will be demo-ing live include Matt Moran, Colin Fassnidge, Justine Schofield,
Silvia Colloca and Sammy Jakubiak, inspiring you with their everyday entertaining recipes for you to
try at home.

Top up your wine knowledge at the entertaining and educational tastings at The RIEDEL Drinks Lab
including ‘Sink the Pink’ and ‘Let’s get Fizzical’, run by resident wine expert Nick Ryan. Plus all wines
from these sessions are available to purchase from the exhibitors on the show floor.

For those looking for something a little more personalised, the Wine Selectors Tasting Room has four separate spaces for a more intimate wine tasting experience paired with food, including on trend tasting sessions to picking the perfect dinner party wine.

Serious wine drinkers can enjoy all this and more, with a new Wine Lovers ticket, that includes access to new releases and back-vintages, a premium RIEDEL Magnum tasting glass, complimentary bottle of Shiraz from Mount Pleasant, a wine guide and more!

Calling all cheese-lovers! The Smelly Cheese Project will be guiding aspiring curd-nerds through
artisanal cheese masterclasses include Australian and international cheese varieties. Plus, you can
sample your way down Cheese Lane, cheddar to truffle, Brie to dairy-free there’s something for
everyone.

Head to the never-seen-before spirit fleet, where you can step on board the Glenfiddich Whisky
Wanderer vintage double decker bus, sip and sample gin at the Hendricks Cucumber Airstream, or if Scotch is more your tipple, the Monkey Shoulder Shaker (cement mixer). From personalised bottles to new release gins and premium masterclasses, make this a destination in your day.

Whilst we are on the spirit bandwagon, if gin’s your jam, Fever-Tree have you covered with their
Ultimate Gin & Tonic Bar. From tonics to sodas, you can taste their premium range, or learn how to
mix with the best in a G+T masterclass including Garnishing 101 to Ginger Ale and Whisky pairing.
Visitors can experience the best of British and enjoy a traditional morning or afternoon tea at the
English Garden, with a selection of the finest UK cheeses from Somerdale, scones, cream and Tiptree Jams.

Still hungry? Visit the Good Food Village, a destination for visitors to try and buy artisan products from small producers across Australia. The market style hub has everything from truffles, small-batch honey to hemp products and more.

Luxury seekers will not be disappointed either, with the Taste of Margaret River VIP Lounge providing a virtual escape to Margaret River with an exclusive chef-designed menu, paired with the region’s best wines!

With thousands of prizes up for grabs the Citi Wall of Fortune will be popping up at this year’s show.

Plus, for the first time, Citi will be curating a special show bag with a selection of some of the best
the show has to offer to create a Citi Top Selections Show Bag.
