The third edition of the English-language magazine Hidden Cologne explores the many facets of the city and the diversity of its population. Hidden Cologne was commissioned by the Cologne Tourist Board and created as part of the FLOW.NRW / urbanana project in cooperation with Tourismus NRW, Düsseldorf Tourismus and Ruhr Tourismus.

The information, articles and tips in Hidden Cologne are aimed at Cologne residents as much as at travellers, including those who have settled here temporarily as international students or expats. The 100-page print publication covers a wide range of topics, from practical recommendations, suggested restaurants and shops to articles on Cologne’s lively creative scene and a series of portraits entitled “A day in the life of…”. Like its two predecessor editions, the third edition is produced by Stadtrevue Verlag.

Cologne is an international tourist destination and a major research and business location, as evidenced in the international character of its inhabitants and its many visitors from around the world. This is clearly reflected in Hidden Cologne, which provides high-quality English-language content detailing the urban and creative metropolis that is Cologne,” explains Dr Jürgen Amann, CEO of the Cologne Tourist Board. “The city is enormously multifaceted and attractive, as are the many lesser-known activities and hidden corners that are again getting some well-earned visibility in the third edition of Hidden Cologne.”

The latest issue of Hidden Cologne is the third to be produced under the FLOW.NRW / urbanana project, which spotlights the creative and digital communities of North Rhine-Westphalia’s metropolitan areas. The city’s institutions and industry partners are invited to request copies for their own use. The magazine is available free of charge at the Cologne Tourist Board service centre by the Cathedral or can be accessed online at cologne-tourism.com. A bundle containing the editions for Cologne, Düsseldorf and the Ruhr region is available from Tourismus NRW at www.nrw-tourism.com/brochures.
