Qatar Airways has launched its annual Black Friday sale early this year, offering Aussies huge savings on international travel.
The airline is offering up to 30 per cent off flights to select destinations when you use the promo code BLACKFRIDAY.
The fares are available from today until 29 November 2020 for travel from 1 February 2021 until 30 September 2021. Qatar Airways recently updated its cancellation policy amid COVID-19, for guaranteed flexibility on bookings until 31 December 2020. This includes unlimited date changes, two-year extended ticket validity and more re-booking options so travellers can plan ahead knowing they are covered.
The Black Friday discount is valid for flights departing from Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide. There are exciting destinations for each city, including flights from Melbourne to London Heathrow, and discounts to go to Paris from Sydney. Travellers can also fly to Manchester from Brisbane, San Francisco from Perth and Dublin from Adelaide.
Travellers can book on Qatar Airways’ website. For full terms and conditions and pricing information go to www.qatarairways.com/au.
Since March 2020 Qatar Airways has helped carry over 180,000 Australians and international passengers home safely. Qatar Airways is one of the very few airlines to never stop services to Australia during the pandemic, including expanding operations to assist with repatriation across major cities.
Qatar Airways’ onboard hygiene measures for passengers and cabin crew include the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for cabin crew and a complimentary protective kit and disposable face shields for passengers. Business Class passengers on aircraft equipped with Qsuite can enjoy the enhanced privacy this award-winning business seat provides, including sliding privacy partitions and the option to use a ‘Do Not Disturb (DND)’ indicator. Qsuite is available on flights to more than 30 destinations including Frankfurt, Kuala Lumpur, London and New York.
Qatar Airways’ home and hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), has implemented stringent cleaning procedures and applied social distancing measures throughout its terminals. Passenger touchpoints are sanitised every 10-15 minutes and boarding gates and bus gate counters are cleaned after each flight. In addition, hand sanitisers are provided at immigration and security screening points. HIA was recently ranked “Third Best Airport in the World”, among 550 airports worldwide, by the SKYTRAX World Airport Awards 2020. HIA was also voted the ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ for the sixth year in a row and ‘Best Staff Service in the Middle East’ for the fifth year in a row.
