In the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat – there is plastic. Plastic pollution is a widespread, complex environmental and health emergency that requires global changes in policy, corporate sourcing, innovation and consumer behavior. Grassroots action and restoration technologies are also needed to clean up plastic pollution wherever it is found.

Join EARTHDAY.ORG tomorrow, Nov. 19 at 11AM ET for a live event featuring global experts that are working to address our plastic pollution problem before it’s too late.

Our esteemed panel will address microplastics’ impact on human, animal and ecosystem health as well as educate viewers on the disproportionate impact of plastic pollution on the global poor. They will also discuss potential ways to prevent plastic from polluting our environment in the future.
