The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is back open for in-person visits (with requirements for masks, advanced booking and other safety measures), but for visitors who’d feel safer at home — or can’t travel to New York right now — the museum now offers virtual tours as well.

The 45-minute live virtual tours walk guests through panoramic views of the structure as well as up-close looks at the exhibits. They also highlight remnants of the original structure, including staircases used by hundreds of World Trade Center workers to escape the towers. Tours are interactive and conducted over Zoom, giving guests the opportunity to ask questions and learn from museum staff.
