Desert & Delta Safaris has been a pioneering safari operator in Botswana since its foundation in 1982. Comprising of eight stunning camps set in prime locations in northern Botswana’s famous game reserves and national parks, with one just across the spectacular Chobe River in Namibia’s Eastern Caprivi Strip.

Desert & Delta Safaris was the first Botswana based luxury safari group to establish itself on the international tourism map. However, despite its historic roots, Desert & Delta has always been at the forefront of innovation, developing Botswana’s first fleet of solar-powered electric boats and championing sustainability through education as part of its CARES philosophy. Desert & Delta also employs approximately 320 staff members, 100% of whom are Botswanan citizens. The company has been instrumental in championing women within the workplace, with a management group that consists of 50% female representation. At the spectacular Chobe Game Lodge, female empowerment is brought to prominence, being Africa’s first all-female safari guiding team.
