Hyatt Regency Sydney’s newest bar, Jackalberry was crowned – Hotel Bar of the Year at the 2019 Hotel Management Awards (HM) on Friday 6 September in Sydney.

Named after the native African tree, Jackalberry offers a glimpse of world flavours with its thoughtfully concocted drinks list, culturally diverse food menu and exotic interiors transporting guests around the world without leaving the city.

Following a six month refurbishment the bar opened its doors in June 2019, occupying a stunning heritage listed space on Sussex Street. The eclectic design by interior stylist Belinda Cendron, features an abundance of greenery, dramatic wallpaper and velvet booth seating – making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s CBD.

Zephyr Sky Bar, winner of Hotel Bar of the Year at the 2018 HM Awards, is also part of Hyatt Regency Sydney’s culinary offering. Located on Level 12, the open air bar boasts stunning views of Darling Harbour and a highly curated cocktail list to match.
