Options vary from 3-hour easy walks to more ambitious mountain routes like Bird Ridge. Transportation is available from Anchorage, and luggage storage is available as well. www.gohikealaska.com

Fish
Spin Your Reels Alaska now offers guided fishing, lake kayaking, trail biking and day hikes in the Anchorage area. Trips range across Anchorage and north to the Matanuska Valley and Denali State Park. https://spinyourreelsalaska.com/

Fly
Ascending Path adds helicopter flights to their adventure offerings at Spencer Glacier. Glacier hikers and ice climbers exploring the area in Chugach National Forest will get a lift by helicopter from the toe of the glacier to a camp several miles up the glacier. This is the first year Ascending Path has had a camp with guides living atop Spencer Glacier full-time during the summer, allowing them to better scout features like caves to explore. There is also an option that includes an overnight at the glacier camp complete with a king crab meal. https://www.ascendingpath.com/helicopter-tours/
