Next Hotel Brisbane has redesigned the way they do winter food, launching a new mouth-watering lunch and dinner menu at their award-winning Lennons Restaurant & Bar.

Designed by Head Chef, Coby Davies and his talented team, menus feature a range of classic dishes,  re-vamped with a gourmet twist and all made using the freshest local produce.

“I really wanted to design a menu that represented upmarket modern comfort food, that would appeal to corporate and leisure guests alike. A lot of corporate travellers miss out on a home cooked meal with family and loved ones while away on business. We try to encapsulate this familiar home-cooked feel for guests when they dine with us.”  Says Head Chef, Coby Davies.

Complementing the aspiration behind the new menus, Lennons Restaurant & Bar oozes a contemporary yet cosy ambience, boasting an open-concept kitchen, clean modern décor  offset by warm wooden finishes and floor to ceiling windows that overlook bustling Queen Street Mall by day and a picturesque Brisbane city backdrop by night.

The new innovative dinner menu will leave guests spoilt for choice with a variety of starters, entrees, mains and desserts.

Begin the culinary journey with an entrée of Confit duck leg with beetroot puree, pickled beetroot and beetroot meringue, or Shaved wagyu beef, horseradish crème fraiche, chimichurri and kale chips.

Enjoy a range of mains like Lennons Restaurant & Bars signature dish, Pork Belly – a modern take on a classic winter favourite, served with braised red cabbage, fried speck and apple cider jus. Also on the menu is the Wild mushroom risotto, truffle, parmesan and sage.

For dessert, those with a sweet tooth won’t go past the Vanilla crème brulee, pistachio tuile and cranberry jam, or the Pumpkin pie, walnut brittle with citrus crème fraiche.

Sample the new delicious lunch menu with ‘Lennons $25 Lunch’, including a choice of mains and a glass of house wine or a soft drink. For a little bit extra enjoy a two-course meal, glass of house wine or soft drink for only $33.

As part of the $25 lunch special, mains include a signature Coal Roasted Salmon Belly. This innovative dish uses the belly of the salmon as the hero of the dish, when normally it is discarded or used for stock. The belly is coal roasted and then served with salsa verde, dried tomato & cauliflower puree.  Other mains that are part of the lunch special include a Thai Green Chicken Curry with Coconut Rice and Cucumber Raita.

Delectable desserts are also on the lunch menu and include a Strawberry Semifreddo with Mulled Wine Jelly & Lemon Sable, and a Vanilla Panna Cotta with Berry Compote.

Lennons Restaurant & Bar is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
