Princess Cruises has announced some itinerary changes for its 2022 Australian Pacific season saying that the changes are as a result of likely ongoing travel restrictions that will prevent it from visiting some destinations in the Pacific region.
Princess Cruises says that Royal Princess’ 2nd, 18th and 30th January 2022 cruises from Sydney to Fiji will not visit Fiji, but will now visit New Zealand and for the latter two will be round trip Sydney rather than Sydney to Auckland and Auckland to Sydney.
They have also advised that two Sapphire Princess cruises, departing 28th February 2022 and 2nd March 2022, which were originally departing Adelaide and Melbourne to visit New Caledonia and Vanuatu, will now explore Queensland.
Coral Princess’ 27th January 2022 cruise from Brisbane to Papua New Guinea will now visit Tasmania.
Princess says that guests will retain their original booking and will receive an updated confirmation immediately and that shore excursions for the cancelled ports will be refunded to the original form of payment and any other related booking items, such as transfers and EZair flights, will remain unchanged.
In addition, Princess says that guests can also cancel their booking and receive a refund and that for cruises within 180 days of departure cancellation fees will not apply, if the guest decides to cancel by 21st August 2021.
