The China International MICE Exchange (CIMX), taking place from 3–5 November 2026 in Beijing, announces the official partnership with the MICE Committee of China Association of Travel Services (MICE Committee), bringing together the Committee’s industry resources, research capabilities and professional network with CIMX’s international platform for China’s business events, meetings and incentives market.
Representing a broad cross-section of China’s MICE industry, the MICE Committee’s member profile ranges from conference organizers, meeting service providers, public relations and event companies, hotels and venues, cultural tourism groups, destination organisations and educational institutions. Through the partnership, the MICE Committee and CIMX will work to strengthen industry dialogue, share market intelligence and support greater international exchange, while creating new opportunities for qualified MICE buyers and industry professionals to connect across markets.
Bringing China-Global MICE Outlook to the CIMX Conference
A key element of the collaboration will be the MICE Committee’s contribution to the “China-Global MICE Outlook” content track at the CIMX Conference, including a keynote and high-level panel discussion as part of the opening session in the morning of day one of the event, exploring current trends and developments in the MICE industry, combining industry perspectives and practical insights from the Chinese market.
The collaboration reflects a shared focus on making industry knowledge more actionable and relevant across markets. By bringing China-focused perspectives into an international business events platform, the partnership will provide a space for professionals to examine market developments, exchange experience and explore how the MICE industry can continue to evolve in a changing global environment.
“China’s MICE industry is entering a period of continued transformation, with new opportunities emerging across destinations, corporate events, meetings, incentives and the wider business events ecosystem,” Li Zhuyuan, Deputy Director of the MICE Committee of China Association of Travel Services, “Our cooperation with CIMX will provide an important platform for bringing together industry knowledge and professional perspectives from China and international markets. We look forward to contributing our industry resources and expertise while creating more opportunities for exchange, learning and collaboration across the MICE community.”
Connecting CIMX with China’s MICE Buyer Community
The partnership will also strengthen CIMX’s engagement with qualified MICE buyers in China. Through its member network and industry connections, the MICE Committee will support the recommendation and invitation of qualified buyers with relevant domestic and outbound supplier sourcing needs, further strengthening business connections at the heart of CIMX.
This buyer engagement complements CIMX’s international marketplace, where destinations, venues, hotels and other business events suppliers can connect with professionals actively seeking solutions and partnerships for their events programmes.
“For CIMX, building an international platform does not mean looking outward alone — it also means bringing the depth and diversity of China’s own MICE industry into the global conversation,” said Nikolaos Swoch, Director CIMX. “Our partnership with the MICE Committee strengthens that connection. By combining the Committee’s industry reach and professional expertise with CIMX’s international platform, we can create a more informed and connected environment for buyers, suppliers and industry leaders to exchange ideas, identify opportunities and shape the next stage of business events development in China and worldwide.”
A Long-Term Platform for Industry Development
The partnership forms part of CIMX’s broader approach to building long-term connections across China’s MICE ecosystem and international business events community. Through joint industry communications, professional engagement and continued collaboration, CIMX and the MICE Committee aim to support the development, international exchange and professionalisation of the global MICE industry.
