High above the busy streets of Bangkok, a rooftop farm at Centara Grand at CentralWorld provides a daily harvest of fresh vegetables and leafy greens. Now, guests can take a selection of this produce home with specially prepared harvest baskets, available exclusively at Mill & Co.
Grown and picked on the hotel’s rooftop, the seasonal produce includes crisp lettuces, colourful peppers, vine tomatoes, carrots and cauliflower, with the selection varying according to the harvest. Each basket also comes with house-made salad dressings and vinaigrettes, making it easy to put together a fresh salad or add a selection of vegetables to a home-cooked meal.
The rooftop farm forms part of the hotel’s ongoing efforts to incorporate more locally grown ingredients into its dining offerings. By cultivating produce on site, the hotel is able to bring freshly harvested vegetables directly to guests while encouraging a greater appreciation of where food comes from.
Arranged in woven baskets, the collection makes a thoughtful gift for food lovers, a practical addition to the family table or an easy way to enjoy freshly picked vegetables at home.
Two options are available: the Harvest Basket at THB 999 net and the Signature Harvest Basket at THB 1,399 net. As the vegetables are harvested daily, orders must be placed at least one day in advance.
