Song Group celebrated the people and properties driving its continued success at its annual awards gala at Emporium Hotel South Bank, themed “Rise – Raising the Bar 2026.”

Bringing together approximately 140 guests, the evening recognised outstanding achievements across Song Group’s growing portfolio, with a particular focus on property performance, guest satisfaction, leadership and emerging talent.

Collins House was named Property (Building) of the Year alongside Spire Residences, recognising exceptional financial performance across the Group’s portfolio. Collins House also won the Hotel Guest Review Excellence Award, with an outstanding 91.90 per cent guest review score — its third consecutive year receiving the honour.

Spire Residences was further recognised with the CEO Award, celebrating exceptional entrepreneurial capability and resilience. Sonia Zhang was named Property Manager of the Year (Long Stay) for her leadership, operational excellence and outstanding portfolio performance.

Guest experience remained a key highlight, with Kylee Lowden receiving the Hospitality Excellence in Guest Satisfaction Award after recording the highest number of guest mentions across multiple review platforms — marking her third consecutive year receiving the award.

The awards also looked firmly to the future, recognising Bradley Cross, Irene Gu, Louie Lu, Sandra Hang and Pema Lhamo as Rising Stars of the Year, highlighting the depth of emerging talent within Song Group.

Song Group CEO Michael Song said the awards were an opportunity to recognise the people whose dedication and performance underpin the Group’s success.

“Our properties and our growth are only as strong as the people behind them. These awards celebrate the individuals and teams who consistently raise the bar, take pride in their work, and make Song Group the business it is today. It’s incredibly rewarding to see their hard work recognised, and even more exciting to see the talent that will shape our future.”

The evening culminated in a surprise Casino Royale-themed celebration, bringing the team together to celebrate the achievements of the past year and look ahead to the opportunities of 2026.

With “Rise – Raising the Bar 2026” as its guiding theme, the awards reflect Song Group’s continued focus on excellence — from the performance of its properties and the quality of its guest experiences to, above all, the people who deliver them.
