Royal Caribbean is expanding its 2027-28 Australian summer lineup with the arrival of the newly amplified Ovation of the Seas delivering the brand’s biggest season ever and more ways for Australian holidaymakers to get away. Ovation will make Brisbane home alongside Voyager of the Seas, while Anthem of the Seas returns to Sydney, together delivering more short escapes and family holidays across Queensland, the South Pacific and New Zealand. The expanded lineup of 2027-28 holidays will open for bookings on Royal Caribbean’s website starting 19 August.
From October 2027 to April 2028, the three-ship lineup will deliver a combination of 2-to 12-night holidays, ranging from weekend getaways, tropical escapes exploring Australia, breathtaking New Zealand and the sun-soaked South Pacific.

Returning newly amplified, Ovation will expand Royal Caribbean’s Queensland lineup with even more ways for Australian holidaymakers to explore the region. Together with Anthem of the Seas offering holidays from Sydney, Voyager will provide new itineraries from Brisbane and Sydney before heading to Asia with new sailings from Hong Kong and Tokyo, alongside Navigator of the Seas in Singapore.

New: Ovation of the Seas – From Brisbane, Australia
- Joining Voyager in Brisbane, the newly amplified Ovation of the Seas offers new family escapes ranging from 3- to 8-nights starting in November 2027, plus a 16-night transpacific sailing from Honolulu, Hawaii to Brisbane visiting picturesque French Polynesia. New experiences include a revamped pool deck with Splashaway Bay and private Casitas; fresh flavours at Izumi Teppanyaki and Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen; the Pesky Parrot tropical cocktail bar, an expanded Casino Royale, and the first-of-its-kind Sound Cellar, a late-night dancing spot.
- From Brisbane guests can enjoy two 4-night Whitsundays getaways to Airlie Beach for perfect beach days in Queensland’s own backyard.
New: Voyager of the Seas – From Brisbane and Sydney, Australia plus Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan
- From October to December 2027, Voyager will deliver memory-maxing holidays kicking off with a 25-night long adventure from Seattle to Brisbane via Honolulu, Hawaii and Moorea, Papeete, and Raiatea in French Polynesia.
- Voyager will then call Queensland home with sailings from Brisbane ranging from 2- to 11-nights, including South Pacific holidays to Noumea, Lifou, Mystery Island, Port Vila, and Luganville.
- Connecting the Sunshine State to the Harbour City, Voyager expands the Australian season with five brand-new Sydney holidays, building on its sun-soaked lineup of Brisbane escapes.
- In Sydney, holidaymakers can unwrap the festive spirit across the majestic fjords and iconic landscapes of New Zealand on a 10-night Christmas holiday, visiting Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and the breathtaking Milford Sound, alongside a weekend to remember on a 3-night Sydney escape.
- For travellers looking to extend the adventure, an all-new 15-night repositioning holiday journeys from Sydney to local favourite Singapore via sun-soaked Airlie Beach, tropical Darwin, and Indonesia’s Lombok and Celukan Bawang.
- From January to April, Voyager of the Seas will make Asia its home, sailing from Singapore, Hong Kong and Toyko with all-new adventures across Asia Pacific.
- Guests can relax on a 5-night sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong or choose from seven 4- and 5-night roundtrip getaways from Hong Kong to ring in the Chinese New Year in style with sailings to Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan, including select overnight stays that offer more time discovering the island’s distinct raw natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Additional Hong Kong holidays visit the bustling city of Taipei, Taiwan, and Hue/Danang (Chan May), Vietnam.
- Beginning in late February, holidays from Tokyo coincide with Japan’s iconic cherry blossom season, offering guests a front-row seat to one of the world’s most breathtaking natural displays. Anthem of the Seas – From Sydney, Australia
- From October 2027, Anthem will offer 3- to 17-night holidays, from quick 3-night escapes to South Pacific sailings.
- New Zealand holidays ranging from 9- to 12-nights bring families to iconic destinations including Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Milford Sound, with more ways to experience the country’s landscapes, culture and cuisine.
- The adventures continue with unforgettable holiday celebrations, including a 9-night South Pacific Christmas holiday and a New Zealand New Year escape that rings in 2028 surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Sounds.
- Taking center stage is a 17-night adventure from Honolulu, offering travelers a unique alternative to the long-haul flight. Crossing the Pacific and journeying across the world’s largest ocean, guests arrive in Australia in a way that is every bit as memorable as the destination itself.
New: Navigator of the Seas – Year-round from Singapore
Royal Caribbean is also extending Navigator of the Seas’ Singapore season through to October 2027, marking the ship’s Singaporean debut and its first year-round deployment in the region. Navigator will offer 2- to 5-night escapes to Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand, alongside an immersive 12-night sailing from Tokyo to Singapore – ideal for Australian guests looking to explore Asia.
Bookings for the Ovation of the Seas Brisbane season and the extended Navigator of the Seas Singapore season are open from 19 August, with Voyager of the Seas Asia-Pacific sailings on sale from 26 August. More details on the 2027-28 holidays are available on Royal Caribbean’s website.
