Dusit Hotels and Resorts, Dusit International’s global portfolio of luxury retreats, wellness resorts, lifestyle hotels, and contemporary city stays, is celebrating another successful year at the FACT Dining Awards Qatar 2026, where two flagship dining venues at Dusit Doha Hotel and Dusit Hotel & Suites – Doha received consecutive industry recognition for the distinctive dining experiences they create.
At this year’s awards, Benjarong, the signature Thai restaurant at Dusit Doha Hotel, was named Best Thai Restaurant for the fifth consecutive year, reaffirming its consistent delivery of authentic Royal Thai cuisine, attentive service, and thoughtfully crafted dining experiences. Meanwhile, Tropicana 360, the rooftop venue at Dusit Hotel & Suites – Doha, received the award for Favourite Social Brunch, marking its third consecutive year of recognition after previously being named Best Bar in 2024 and Best Outdoor Bar in 2025.
The latest recognition reflects the growing role both venues play in Doha’s dining scene, as they continue to attract increasing numbers of local residents alongside hotel guests seeking distinctive food and beverage experiences.

“Today, more than 85% of visitors to Benjarong and Tropicana 360 are local residents or diners who are not staying at either hotel, highlighting the growing appeal of both venues as dining destinations in their own right,” said Quentin Fougeroux, Assistant Vice President – Food & Beverage, Operations, Dusit International. “The FACT Dining Awards recognise the outstanding work of the teams in Doha, while also reflecting our commitment to continually enhancing the food and beverage experiences we offer across our portfolio. Recognition is never the finish line. It inspires us to keep evolving while preserving the distinctive character that makes each venue unique.”
As Dusit’s signature Thai restaurant concept, Benjarong celebrates the heritage of Royal Thai cuisine through traditional recipes prepared using premium seasonal ingredients sourced from Thailand. At Dusit Doha Hotel, the restaurant’s 100% Thai culinary team, led by Chef Somruethai Suksamai, known as Chef Ninja, presents an authentic dining experience featuring classic dishes such as Tom Yum Goong and Phad Thai Goong alongside signature creations including a 48-hour slow-cooked Massaman lamb shank inspired by a recipe from King Rama II.
Beyond its acclaimed à la carte menu, the restaurant continues to build its appeal through experiences such as its Saturday Thai Brunch, Business Lunch, and Wednesday Curry Night, giving guests and local residents more opportunities to discover the richness and diversity of authentic Thai cuisine throughout the week.
Meanwhile, Tropicana 360, the rooftop venue at Dusit Hotel & Suites – Doha, has established itself as one of the city’s popular destinations for rooftop dining and social occasions, combining panoramic views of the Doha skyline with contemporary international cuisine ranging from premium grilled meats and fresh seafood to sushi and inventive sharing plates.
Complemented by an inventive cocktail programme, live entertainment, and its award-winning Paradiso Brunch, Tropicana 360 offers an atmosphere that seamlessly transitions from relaxed sunset drinks to lively evening gatherings, reinforcing its position as one of Doha’s most distinctive rooftop social destinations.
“Our ambition is to create dining destinations that people actively seek out, whether they are staying at our hotels or visiting from elsewhere,” said Mr Fougeroux. “Benjarong and Tropicana 360 each have their own distinctive identity, yet together they reflect Dusit’s wider commitment to creating memorable food and beverage experiences for every occasion. Their continued success in Doha, together with the recognition recently received by our restaurants in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, demonstrates the strength of our culinary teams across the Middle East. By thoughtfully evolving each venue while preserving what makes them unique, we will ensure people continue to choose our restaurants time and again.”
The recognition in Qatar comes as Dusit continues to enjoy culinary success across the region. At Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Namak was named Favourite Fine Dining Indian Restaurant at the What’s On Abu Dhabi Awards 2026 and retained its Michelin Selected status for a fourth consecutive year, while Benjarong was recognised as Highly Commended – Favourite Fine Dining Asian Restaurant at the Time Out Abu Dhabi Awards 2026. Meanwhile, at Dusit Thani Dubai, the food and beverage team received the Gold Award for Restaurant Team of the Year, while Benjarong was Commended – Best Restaurant of the Year (Fine Dining) and 24th Street was Commended – Best Restaurant (Street Food) at the Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards 2026. Together, the accolades reflect the continued strength and diversity of Dusit’s food and beverage experiences across the Middle East.
