The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) invites Guam’s residents and visitors to rediscover the island this summer through the Guam Photo Hunt, a new interactive digital campaign designed to celebrate Guam’s natural beauty, culture, local businesses, and hidden gems.

Running through September 30, 2026, the islandwide campaign encourages participants to visit featured locations across Guam, capture and share their experiences on Instagram, and earn opportunities to win weekly prizes, Guam merchandise, and the grand prize.

Open to Guam residents and visitors ages 18 and over, the Guam Photo Hunt features more than 100 curated locations spanning the island’s villages, highlighting scenic viewpoints, cultural landmarks, local restaurants, attractions, and community destinations.

Participation is free and easy.

Participants can register online now at visitguam.com/photohunt, access the interactive photoguide map, and begin exploring. To complete a stop, participants simply visit a featured location, take a picture at the designated site or of a featured element, and share it on Instagram using the official campaign hashtag #guamphotohunt2026 and tagging @visitguamusa.

Each eligible post counts toward a participant’s progress for prize fulfillment. For Guam residents, each post serves as an entry into weekly prize drawings by local businesses and community partners. Residents may win one weekly prize per month, for a maximum of three weekly prizes throughout the campaign.

Participants who complete 25 locations will qualify for the grand prize drawing, participants who complete 30 locations will receive an additional entry. One lucky participating resident will win a round-trip ticket to Taiwan, while one lucky participating international visitor will receive a round-trip ticket to Guam.

Rediscover Guam!

“The Guam Photo Hunt is an invitation to our community to see Guam with fresh eyes and rediscover the places, people, and experiences that make our island special,” said Régine Biscoe Lee, President and CEO of the Guam Visitors Bureau. “GVB is committed to creating experiences that strengthen local pride while showcasing the best of our island to the world. Through this campaign, we encourage our community to explore new places, support local businesses, and share their unique stories about what makes Guam home.”

“Today’s travelers discover destinations through authentic experiences, shareable moments, and recommendations from real people,” said Nadine Leon Guerrero, Director of Global Marketing at the Guam Visitors Bureau. “The Guam Photo Hunt taps into those behaviors by encouraging participants to create and share their own content while exploring the island. Every photo posted helps build a growing collection of authentic Guam stories that can inspire future visitors and foster greater appreciation for the destinations and businesses within our community.”

Participating GVB members, businesses, and organizations will serve as official Pin Locations, gaining visibility through the campaign’s interactive map, which will feature operating hours, directions, curated participant photos, and destination information.

GVB invites residents to explore Guam’s gems through the 2026 Photo Hunt and submit their best photos for chances to win.
