In a spectacular celebration of travel excellence, Tahiti Tourisme has officially announced the winners of its largest-ever trade incentive, ‘Tahiti Dream Big’—a groundbreaking competition to reward top-performing travel agents across Australia. The incentive, launched during the Tahiti Tourisme Roadshow in October 2024, was designed to boost travel bookings to The Islands of Tahiti, particularly during the low season.

Australia’s Finest Travel Agents Honored

Following months of fierce competition, five outstanding Australian travel agents have emerged victorious, each securing an exclusive luxury trip for two to the breathtaking paradise of The Islands of Tahiti. The competition, which ran between October 14 and December 31, 2024, was open exclusively to Certified Tahiti Specialists, who could enter by registering their bookings.

Tahiti Tourisme has hailed the overwhelming success of this initiative, highlighting that an impressive 75% of new bookings secured under this incentive are scheduled for travel during the low season—a significant boost for the region’s tourism industry.

Acknowledging Industry Dedication

The tourism board extended its deepest gratitude to the participating travel agents and tour operators for their unwavering support, emphasizing their dedication and expertise in achieving outstanding results. Tahitian tourism partners also played a crucial role, contributing extraordinary prizes that ensured the initiative’s success.

“Tahiti Dream Big was not only a way to reward our valued travel agents but also an effective strategy to drive bookings during the low season,” a spokesperson from Tahiti Tourisme stated. “The commitment from our travel trade community has been nothing short of remarkable, and we are proud to recognize their efforts with these prestigious rewards.”
