The Unique Tourism Collection has been appointed Australia and New Zealand Sales and Marketing Representative for Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort overlooking Savusavu Bay in Fiji.

The Sydney-based travel and tourism marketing communications specialist will be responsible for sales and marketing activity working closely with industry partners while developing strategic opportunities to drive business from Australia and New Zealand to Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort.

A family-friendly paradise that offers a winning combination of sustainable luxury, cultural immersion, marine conservation and adventure, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort is nestled in the pristine landscapes of Fiji and features 25 luxurious bures, each with stunning views of the ocean or the garden. The resort is also home to the world-renowned Jean-Michel Cousteau Dive Centre, where guests can explore the rich underwater life of the coral reefs, guided by marine biologists and expert divers.

A place to learn and connect, the resort is committed to preserving the natural and cultural heritage of Fiji, and educating its guests about the importance of environmental and social responsibility. The all-women leadership team and its all-Fijian staff, who come from two nearby villages and have a strong bond with the resort, have been working here for generations, passing on their skills and knowledge to their children. The team’s efforts have been recognised by such accolades as Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2023; Stella Awards: Best Green Initiative; 2022 Architectural Digest: The Best Resorts in the World for Families; and more.

Svetlana Jovanovic, General Manager of The Unique Tourism Collection, said: “We are delighted to represent Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in Australia and New Zealand, and to share its amazing story with our industry partners. Connecting travellers to a destination in a way that feels organic is our passion and our mission.
