APT has announced it is waiving airfare surcharges up to $1,400 per person on select European itineraries in 2023.
The company identified a challenge for its travel agent partners was being able to provide airfares in conjunction with its river cruises at an affordable cost. To alleviate this pain point, APT is waiving the air surcharge for selected European itineraries and departure dates for new bookings only.
For example, the airfare surcharges up to $1,400 per person is available on the popular 15 day Magnificent Europe departures in June and July 2023 will be waived. For all other Magnificent Europe departure dates in 2023, airfare surcharges will be waived up to $700 per person.
APT’s General Manager Sales, Scott Ellis stated that the initiative has come at a great time as we see airfares rising.
“Our aim is to make the booking process with APT as simple as possible. By identifying there was a bit of a pain point for agents and also for guests, we are pleased to be able to provide the excellent solution of waiving airfare surcharges.
With demand for travel pushing the price of flights up, it is the perfect time to recommend an APT European River Cruise and take advantage of the airfare surcharge being waived,” Ellis concluded.
