Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has presented its new Premium Economy Class seat at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026. The new cabin offering is part of the airline’s ongoing fleet modernization and cabin refurbishment program under the ‘New Saudia Experience’ initiative.
Positioned between Economy and Business Class, the new Premium Economy cabin will offer guests additional comfort, space and privacy. The seat features a pitch of up to 43 inches, a 15.5-inch entertainment screen, an extendable calf rest, enhanced privacy and additional personal storage.
Guests are expected to experience Saudia’s new Premium Economy cabin aboard newly delivered Boeing 787 aircraft in 2027. The cabin will also be introduced across selected aircraft in its existing Airbus A330, Boeing 777, and Boeing 787 fleets as part of a phased retrofit program.
Arved von zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia, said: “The introduction of Premium Economy marks another step in enhancing the choices and comfort available to our guests. As part of the ‘New Saudia Experience’, we continue to invest in our onboard products and services to deliver a more comfortable and seamless journey. World Travel Market London provides an opportunity to present these developments to our international partners and demonstrate the progress being made across our guest experience.”

Alongside the Premium Economy unveiling, Saudia also showcased its latest Business Class offering aboard the Airbus A321XLR, which joined its fleet earlier this year. Saudia is the first carrier in the Middle East and Africa to operate the aircraft type, featuring 24 Business Class suites with fully flat beds and direct aisle access, alongside 120 Economy Class seats. The airline also presented a selection of onboard amenities and hospitality offerings across its travel classes, including amenity kits and dining service ware.
Goddess Retreats, one of the world’s original women-only wellness sanctuaries in Bali, has been named Global Winner in three categories at the 20th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards. The titles recognise its all-inclusive, unlimited spa experience and the Balinese culture and cuisine woven through each stay.
Voted for by the public, the awards were presented in October at gala ceremonies in Bucharest and Bangkok, as the World Luxury Awards marked its 20th anniversary. Goddess Retreats was recognised in the following categories:
-
Global Winner: Best Luxury Women Only All-Inclusive Wellness Retreat
-
Global Winner: Best Luxury Unlimited Spa & Healing Retreat
-
Global Winner: Best Luxury Cultural & Culinary Retreat
The results build on the 2025 awards, in which Goddess Retreats was named Global Winner for Best Luxury Cultural Retreat, alongside two Asia titles for its healing and women’s retreats. This year, all three titles are at global level.
“To be recognised as a Global Winner in all three categories is an honour, and it means even more because these awards were voted for by our guests and community,” said Goddess Retreats Founder, Chelsea Ross. “They reflect what women experience with us every day: a truly all-inclusive stay, a deep connection to Balinese culture, and attention shaped around each woman’s needs”.
The All-Inclusive Wellness Retreat title recognises the format that has always set Goddess Retreats apart. Every 7-day, 6-night retreat includes private villa accommodation, nourishing meals, daily yoga and unlimited spa treatments, so every woman is cared for from arrival to departure, with nothing to book, plan or pay for along the way.
Unlimited spa is one of the brand’s longest-standing commitments, and the heart of the Unlimited Spa & Healing Retreat title. While many retreats include a set number of treatments, Goddess Retreats has offered it for the past 14 years, alongside holistic healing sessions guided by trusted Balinese and international practitioners. Both sanctuaries, the jungle retreat in Ubud and the coastal oasis in Seminyak, have recently added more private spa rooms and therapists to keep up with guest demand.
“We made our spa unlimited because I didn’t want to limit how much pampering women had on retreat,” said Chelsea. “I saw how integral it was to their de-stressing, physically and emotionally, and to really allow themselves to be taken care of.”
Respect for Balinese culture has shaped Goddess Retreats since 2003, and it’s this living connection to Bali that earned the Cultural & Culinary Retreat title. That connection runs through every part of the stay. Spa treatments follow traditional Indonesian formulas using local ingredients, botanical baths draw on jamu herbal recipes, and much of what reaches the spa and the kitchen is grown in the retreat’s own permaculture garden or sourced from local farms.
“Being recognised for wellness, spa, culture and cuisine together tells me women value the whole experience, not just one part of it,” said Chelsea. “To be named Global Winner across all three shows how far our retreats have grown.”
Goddess Retreats began in 2003 as the world’s first luxury women-only surf and yoga retreat and has since welcomed more than 20,000 women from around the world.
