Mango Sticky Rice Cocktail on the Beachfront at Krabi
The cocktail shakers and baristas at Banyan Tree Krabi have won various awards for concocting their own cocktails and mocktails with a focus on local ingredients and Thai culture. The bittersweet “Tom Yam Cocktail” made its mark on visitors to the beachside Kredkaew Bar, and now Saffron, the resort’s signature restaurant perched among the trees and overlooking the Andaman Sea, would like to present its own tribute to the ever-popular Thai dessert, Sticky Rice Mango. The khao niao mamuang cocktail is a sweet and creamy blend of locally sourced Chalong Bay rum, mango sticky rice syrup, coconut cream, and of course, mango. Verdict: irresistible!
