For the first time, Melbourne’s social crowd won’t have to choose between an exceptional dinner and an unforgettable night out. Launching at Crown Melbourne on Saturday 24 October, Nobu After Dark transforms one of Australia’s most iconic restaurants into the city’s newest late-night destination, where world-class dining gives way to DJs, premium cocktails, bottle service and after-hours energy long after the final course has been served.

Leading the decks for opening night will be Melbourne DJ Andy Murphy, kicking off from 9pm, with a rotating line-up of DJs to follow. Andy Murphy brings experience across the Spring Racing Carnival, Australian Grand Prix, Australian Open and major events across Melbourne’s social calendar.

The experience will also introduce a dedicated late-night snack menu, spanning Salmon New Style Tacos, Crispy Yuba Spicy Tuna, Tamago Uni with Caviar, Potato Mochi with Wagyu Beef Tartare and Wagyu Beef Sliders, designed for late-night grazing.

Behind the bar, a new after-dark drinks menu leans into the premium nightlife experience with Nobu signature cocktails, Champagne and tableside bottle service. Highlights include the Nashi Lychee Martini, Fuji Apple Pie and Sakura Highball, alongside Dom Pérignon, Don Julio 1942, Clase Azul Reposado, Hibiki Japanese Harmony and Hennessy X.O.

Turning dinner into a full evening out, Nobu After Dark allows guests to transition effortlessly from dining to drinks, music and celebration without ever leaving the venue. DJs take over from 9pm, with the After Dark experience extending late into the night.

Launching ahead of the Spring Racing Carnival, Nobu After Dark will return after each major race day before continuing every Saturday, giving Melbourne a new standing late-night destination beyond the Carnival.

Melbourne’s biggest events have long shared a common after-party destination. From the Spring Racing Carnival and Formula 1 Grand Prix to the Australian Open, the city’s social set inevitably finds its way back to Nobu once the headline event is over. Nobu After Dark takes that ritual one step further, with later nights, DJs, premium drinks and a dedicated late-night food offering, all without leaving the restaurant.
