Bookings for the 2029 MSC World Cruise are now open, inviting guests to embark on an extraordinary 119-night journey around the globe aboard MSC Magnifica including a rare circumnavigation of Australia, with eight calls on Australian soil. Australian travellers can see the world and explore corners of their own backyard from Sydney Harbour through to Broome and Darwin in a single journey visiting 45 destinations in 21 countries.
The Sydney to Genoa voyage traces the coastline to three new Australian ports: Kangaroo Island, home to sea lions and koalas; the pearling town of Broome on the Kimberley coast; and tropical Darwin. Fremantle becomes a new overnight call, giving guests time for the harbour, Perth’s beaches and Western Australia’s wine country, before the ship sails on through Asia and the Middle East to Genoa on 4 May. The Valparaíso to Sydney voyage includes a new call at Timaru on New Zealand’s South Canterbury coast.
Both voyages are part of the full 119-night 2029 World Cruise aboard MSC Magnifica, which visits 45 destinations in 21 countries. The full voyage includes a circumnavigation of Australia with eight calls on Australian soil, from Sydney Harbour to Broome and Darwin, as well as nine overnight calls and 15 included excursions.
The experience continues on board the newly refurbished MSC Magnifica featuring the exclusive MSC Yacht Club, MSC Cruises’ award-winning “ship-within-a-ship” concept.
MSC Yacht Club guests can enjoy key-card access to an array of private facilities, 24-hour butler and concierge services, spacious and elegantly appointed suites, a dedicated restaurant and lounge, and a private sundeck with hot tubs, grill restaurant and bar – all while being within easy reach of everything the rest of the ship has to offer.
Guests on MSC Cruises’ 2029 World Cruise can also enjoy destination-inspired activities, themed dining nights, local food pairings and port-inspired cocktails, along with live music, large-scale productions, language and dance classes and more.
