Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve announces its festive season program, inviting guests to rediscover the heart of Bali. Inspired by Cili, Dewi Sri, the goddess of rice and agriculture, this year’s theme, ‘Wonders of Nature,’ honors Bali’s traditions and reverence for abundance. From 4th December 2026 to 1st January 2027, the only Three-MICHELIN Key resort in Bali will offer a curated itinerary for multiple generations, focused on culture, wellness, and gastronomy.
Festivities begin on 4th December with the resort’s annual lighting ceremony; expect handcrafted cocktails, canapés, and a special carol performance by children from Yayasan Taman Permata Hati Orphanage, celebrating the spirit of giving and community support.
Throughout the season, guests can savor the finest seasonal flavors and traditions at the resort’s four restaurants and bar, with dazzling music and cultural performances. At Kubu, the fine-dining, zero-waste restaurant, exclusive nine-course festive menus feature slow-roasted Takusen beef, organic turkey with spiced candied beetroot and winter truffles, mulled wine sorbet, and innovative seafood dishes. The ingredients are sourced from Bali, including sorghum from Singaraja, duck from Baturiti, turkey from Tabanan, and fresh vegetables from Plaga.
The culture and traditions of the land and season unfold at Sawah Terrace through festive flavors and Indonesian specialties, from live barbecues, succulent roasts, and carving stations to exquisite noodles, delicate seafood, and rich Indonesian-style prawn curries.
Sunset hour is reserved for Ambar Ubud Bar, with panoramic rainforest views and exquisite festive cocktails, from Rambutan Noel to Winter Mangosteen. On 19 December, Demitra and Syazi from HATS, one of Asia’s 77 Best Bars, will bring the spirit of Jakarta through dazzling cocktails, artistry, and dialogue.
Explore the destination on a vintage Volkswagen tour to art and history museums, ancient temples for purification ceremonies, and a local artisan’s house to learn about Keliki art. Or wander through the endless rice fields of the Jatiluwih UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For wellness seekers, the rhythm of the sacred Ayung River and nature’s healing power form the foundation of guests’ transformational journeys. Each day, guests can enjoy up to four complimentary experiences from the signature Disconnect to Reconnect program. These include Watsu, sound healing, vibrant mandala art, rhythmic Balinese meditation, and time-honored traditional healing.
“Our festive calendar is thoughtfully designed to weave the spirit, culture, and traditions of Bali into every experience. With immersive journeys to ancient sites and extraordinary culinary adventures, and moments of renewal through our signature Disconnect to Reconnect program, we invite guests on a rare sensorial journey that celebrates the heritage of Bali,” said Masanori Hosoya, General Manager of Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
The resort offers a limited collection of 60 suites and villas, including the recently reimagined Mandapa River Estate, a 2000-square-meter residence ideal for families and groups of friends.
