One Australian travel advisor is set to swap the sales desk for a South American adventure thanks to Bunnik Tours, LATAM Airlines and Sydney Airport.
Following the close of the four-month-long joint trade incentive on 30 September 2026, Bunnik Tours is pleased to announce that Jonathan Hickman from Wollongong’s Travel on Crown has been selected as the lucky winner of the prize, valued at $16,370.
The campaign, which launched on 11 June 2026, gave Australian travel advisors the chance to win a place on Bunnik Tours’ 20-day Peru Explorer small group tour, including return flights with LATAM Airlines.
To enter, agents simply needed to book their clients on any Bunnik Tours South American small group tour featuring a LATAM Airlines flight from Sydney to Santiago (SYD–SCL) between 11 June and 30 September 2026.
Designed to inspire more Australians to discover the incredible diversity of South America, the campaign also aimed to reward agent bookings, build product knowledge and strengthen the partnership between Bunnik Tours, LATAM Airlines, Sydney Airport and the Australian travel trade.
Now, one lucky advisor will get to experience the destination and products they have been selling first-hand.
The prize is valued at $16,370 and includes Bunnik Tours’ 20-day Peru Explorer, return LATAM Airlines flights from Sydney and a host of unforgettable experiences across Peru. From learning to make an authentic pisco sour and enjoying a traditional Andean brunch, to witnessing Andean condors soaring above the spectacular Colca Canyon and experiencing the magic of Machu Picchu, the itinerary offers an immersive introduction to the country.
The prize brings the partnership to life, with the winning advisor experiencing Bunnik Tours’ signature small group touring style and travelling from Sydney to Santiago with LATAM Airlines before continuing into Peru. From departing Sydney Airport to exploring Peru with Bunnik Tours, the trip gives the winning advisor a chance to experience the journey to South America first-hand.
Bunnik Tours’ National Sales Manager Zoe Francis said the incentive was a great way to bring the destination and product to life for agents.
“Collaborating with LATAM and Sydney Airport to showcase this incredible destination to our trade partners has been a great experience. Coinciding with the launch of our 2027 South & Central America brochure, the campaign gave us a great opportunity to highlight the exceptional small group touring experiences we offer across the region.”
LATAM Airlines’ Regional Director APAC, Alberto Chico Garcia, said it has been great to work with the team at Bunnik Tours on this campaign.
“South America can feel a long way from Australia, but with direct flights to Santiago and connections to more than 140 destinations across the continent, LATAM provides an easy way for Australian travellers to access and explore more of the region. This campaign has been an excellent way to build awareness of that convenience within the industry and will hopefully result in more Australians choosing South America for their next trip.”

Bringing South America to life for agents
The campaign took a multi-faceted approach to engaging travel advisors, combining the trade incentive with LinkedIn advertising, EDMs, social media, a dedicated webinar and an in-person event in Adelaide.
The Adelaide event brought Bunnik Tours, LATAM Airlines and Sydney Airport together to showcase South America beyond the brochure, with agents experiencing the region through its food, culture and traditions while hearing practical insights from the three partners.
Agents also had the chance to win South American-inspired prizes before taking home jars of dulce de leche as a sweet reminder of the evening.
Through the campaign, Bunnik Tours, LATAM Airlines and Sydney Airport have continued to showcase the opportunities for Australian travellers to explore South America, while giving travel advisors the knowledge and inspiration to bring the region to life for their clients.
