Wendy Wu Tours, has launched its new Latin America 2027-28 brochure, expanding its collection across the continent, giving Australian travellers more ways to explore the region.
The new brochure introduces a host of destinations and experiences, including brand-new group tours through Patagonia, Ecuador and the Galápagos, alongside new Cruise & Tour adventures combining iconic cities and landscapes with time at sea.
With 9 new private tours and 11 short stays also joining the collection, travellers have more flexibility to shape their Latin American adventure around their own interests, pace and itinerary.
The collection puts a greater focus on experiencing Latin America through its culture and traditions, with selected departures timed around major festivals such as Mexico’s Day of the Dead and Peru’s Inti Raymi – the Festival of the Sun.
This reflects a growing appetite among Australian travellers for more immersive experiences, with recent YouGov research finding 29% want to experience an area’s history and culture, while 26% want to attend local food and wine festivals or events.
Sonia Orrego, Head of Product, Wendy Wu Tours, says, “We’re seeing more travellers looking to go beyond the usual tourist trail and discover places that feel a little more unexpected. There’s a real appetite for getting closer to nature, seeing incredible wildlife and experiencing local cultures, while still having the comfort of an experienced tour operator.
“That’s what we’ve had in mind with our new Latin America collection. It embraces the iconic sights and classic cities travellers want to see, while also taking them beyond the tourist trail to discover some of the region’s lesser-known places and experiences. With new group tours, private journeys and short stays, there’s more choice in how travellers explore, whether they’re looking for a big adventure or a more tailored journey, all with the support and expertise of Wendy Wu Tours along the way.”
