Six Senses Fiji has been named the best resort in Australasia and the South Pacific in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, achieving an exceptional score of 98.91/100, honoured to be recognised ahead of Qualia, Rosewood Cape Kidnappers and The Brando.
The annual Readers’ Choice Awards are voted for by Condé Nast Traveller readers and recognise their favourite hotels, resorts, destinations and travel experiences around the world. Six Senses Fiji claimed the top position in the Australasia & South Pacific category, ranking ahead of some of the region’s most celebrated luxury resorts across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia.
Set on secluded Malolo Island in Fiji’s Mamanuca archipelago, Six Senses Fiji combines barefoot luxury with the brand’s signature approach to wellness, sustainability and highly personalised hospitality. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and white-sand beaches, the resort is home to 24 private pool villas, 15 multi-bedroom residences and 4 expansive retreats.
The recognition reflects the resort’s continued commitment to creating meaningful guest experiences, from locally inspired dining and personalised wellness programs to surfing, sailing, diving and conservation initiatives that protect the surrounding marine and island ecosystems.
“To be named the best resort in Australasia and the South Pacific by Condé Nast Traveller readers is an incredible honour,” says Mark Kitchen, General Manager at Six Senses Fiji. “This recognition belongs to our entire team, whose genuine warmth, care and dedication shape every guest experience at Six Senses Fiji. We are incredibly proud to represent Fiji on the global stage and grateful to every guest who voted for us.”
The 2026 accolade adds to a growing list of international recognition for Six Senses Fiji, reflecting the resort’s continued commitment to creating meaningful, personalised stays shaped by its island setting and the care of its team.
