Australian travellers can book their next overseas adventure for less, with Vietjet launching a special sale featuring millions of value-packed Eco and Deluxe fares. The promotion includes Australia – Vietnam tickets starting from AUD $199/one-way including taxes and fees, alongside 20% off Deluxe base fares (excluding taxes and fees).
From today to 3.59am on 11 October 2026 (AEDT), Australian travellers can access the special fares when booking tickets between Sydney (WSI and SYD), Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and Ho Chi Minh City. The promotional tickets are also available on all Vietjet domestic and other international routes via www.vietjetair.com and the Vietjet Air mobile app. The promotion applies to travel from 8 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 (blackout dates may apply), giving Australian travellers a broad booking window for holidays to Vietnam and other destinations across Vietjet’s network.
The promotion comes as Vietjet expands its international network with new services to Prague in the Czech Republic and Almaty in Kazakhstan on 10 October. The airline’s new Ho Chi Minh City–Maldives service via Colombo is scheduled to launch on 5th December, further strengthening Vietjet’s presence in South Asia. With three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the new service will give Australian travellers more ways to combine a tropical island getaway with a visit to Vietnam’s vibrant cities, culture and cuisine. Vietjet will also commence two more services commence between Ho Chi Minh City and Clark in the Philippines, and Chiang Mai in Thailand. Together, these new routes give travellers more convenient options to explore historic European cities and vibrant destinations across the Asia-Pacific region, with flexible travel schedules and attractive fares.
On every Vietjet flight, passengers can enjoy a selection of freshly prepared Vietnamese and international specialties, including pho, banh mi and Vietnamese iced milk coffee. These are served by Vietjet’s professional and dedicated cabin crew aboard modern, fuel-efficient aircraft.
